Newcastle Reformed Evangelical Church
Newcastle Reformed Evangelical Church exists to glorify God. We are a Gospel church that offers instruction, fellowship and pastoral care. In obedience to Christ's commands we exist to proclaim the Gospel throughout the world. We accept the Bible as the only rule of faith and practice. Our teaching ministry is based on the Westminster Confession of 1674, the Baptist Confession of 1689 and our Summary of Faith as contained in our constitution.

On church membership applications

Potential members are interviewed by the elders who will ask about the work of grace in their hearts and their willingness to submit to the teaching and leadership of the church.

Whilst not required to submit to the Summary of Faith they will be required to declare their willingness to belong to a church that teaches the Christian faith as outlined in it.

Applications from Christians transferring their membership from another church will normally be supported by the written commendation of that church.
